We are a cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. That gives us more flexibility to focus on your child’s care instead of insurance paperwork. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and we are happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We are also a TEFA approved vendor.

Pricing depends on the type of session and your child’s specific needs. For pricing on evaluations and therapy sessions, fill out our inquiry form and we’ll contact you!

We serve the full pediatric age range and offer continued support for older children/young adults with special needs.

Our main office is located inside Lighthouse Pediatrics. We also offer in-school/in-daycare sessions across the greater Waco area for an additional fee. We’ll find the setting that works best for your child and family.

Evaluations typically run 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your child’s age and the areas being assessed. The session usually includes a parent intake to understand your concerns and your child’s history, rapport-building activities and observation, formal and informal assessment, and a summary of initial impressions and recommendations. You’ll receive a comprehensive written report with treatment recommendations within two business days.

Therapy sessions are typically 30 minutes, one-on-one. Frequency and duration are tailored to your child’s individual needs.

Common signs include difficulty being understood by family, peers, and/or adults in the child’s daily environments, frustration around communicating, delayed talking, trouble following directions, struggles with rhyming and/or reading skills, or feeding challenges. If you’re wondering whether speech therapy might help, that itself is a good reason to reach out. Starting therapy early can make a meaningful difference in a child’s communication, confidence, and overall development.

You’ll hear back from us within one business day. We’ll schedule a brief complimentary consultation to learn more about your child, discuss your concerns, and answer any questions. From there, we can determine whether an evaluation would be the right next step.
